Default Thanks again to the girls who traded D4P 1930's reproduction prints blocks!

Here's a picture of the quilt I made for my son for his birthday, given to him this past Sunday. It's 64" x 80". I had some leftover blocks from our swap here on Quilting Board, which I participated in a couple of years ago. I finally used them! The first quilt I made from the block swap was 10 x 10 blocks, 80" x 80" and no border, which I kept for myself. I'm thankful to those who traded 5" charms with me in order to make my quilt have a different print for every one of the 100 blocks. When my son saw my quilt, he really liked it, so I decided to make a second quilt of the same style for him. I still have some 30's fabric left, but not much! :-) I ended up liking his quilt better than mine because of the border. It added a nice touch. Hopefully the girls who participated in the swap will see this picture. Thanks again to all of you!

I really like your quilt and can see why your son would love it. I think the colors just blend together for a very comfortable look. I also like the border; it adds a nice accent.
