Someone asked for a quick baby quilt pattern and the suggestion was made for the disappearing 9 patch....I had never heard of it, so I checked out the pattern and thought it was great for a fussy cut "Winnie the Pooh" fabric I had stashed away. I think this turned out well, it is for a baby boy that is due to arrive in August....

I did it so that the Pooh print was the top right and bottom left square in the original 9 patch, so when I cut the block into quarters those were the squares that did not get cut, then I took the other 2 and turned them in so that the little squares met in the middle of the "new" block....I had to think about it for awhile before I actually made the first one....
