BDor:
Your placements are darling. Where did you find the directions or did you make them up. How cute. I'd love to make a set or two if you can tell me where you got the pattern or the dimensions of each blade on the stopsign shape.

Thank you, thanks for sharing.

Feathers
I do not have a pattern. I saw a set in a quilt shop and the lady there told me how to make them. I will try to explain how to do it but not to good at giving directions.
You use a Kaleido-Ruler. It takes 2 fat quaters of each color to make 4 placemats. I cut my wedges 81/2 inches(that is why a fat quater works so well folded in half it should be 9"). Sew the wedges alternating the colors. Cut a circle to go in the center and I just stitch it on by hand. Cut the back out of a solid color or make reversible. I use a cotton batting and the other ones I made I just quilted on the solid with heavy stippling.
Hope this rough drawing helps you to see how I cut them.

They are beautiful! I like the Thanksgiving side best - autumn is my favorite season.

Thank you, BDor. Tomorrow morning I'll get at the placemats and when done, I'll post them. Your directions are PERFECT! Thank you,
