Actually the black lines came from the EQ5 program. Someone showed me how to eliminate them. It does look better to me. But if you enjoy the lines, I would probably make them 1/2 inch.

Oh, I forgot to tell that I will naming it "Tropical Nights". And green pen your quilt sounds cute. I would love to see a picture.

I like this pattern. I made one for my nephew using dark and light plaids. He loves it. You did a super job.

one thing i would recommend - turning every other block so that your seams don't match!
Or press the seams so that they lock instead of bunch. On one block the seams would be pressed toward the center - on the one below the seams would be pressed toward the outside edges.
