In case you don't remember, I started to make a Thomas the Train quilt for my boss's grandson who just broke his leg. His name is Thomas and he thinks that Thomas the Train was named for him.

I just got the Thomas the Train quilt top completed. Now just the sandwiching and quilting and the treaded binding to go.

Sorry for the messy room, I'm trying to organize my stash and haven't gotten it all put away.

That Thomas (not the train) will be soooo pleased with his new Thomas- yes, the train...quilt!! That is really cute, I love the fabric

OHhh That is fantastic!!! Thomas will absolutely love it!!! What better way to mend a broken leg than with a great big smile and a wonderful new quilt!! You're a dear for doing it for him!!

Just got the blocks quilted and tomorrow night (if I get done with work on time), I'm going to quilt trains in the sashing. Wish me luck!

Anyone have a suggestion for how to quilt the borders? I'm stuck there :lol:

Are they trains embroidered? They almost look it. I am currently hunting for Thomas designs in embroidery (.ART) for my Bernina.

You did an awesome job.
