Love the look...what is that pattern? What a great way to use sash...did you do triangle on a roll, or easy angle template or each individually?.....or better yet GO!

Yes, most quilts won't look good with just one color. You did a great job with the fabric you used.

there's a easy way to make HST. take 2 10" squares. right sides together sew all the way around on the edges using a 1/4 inch seam. then cut from corner to corner. That's how I make mine. Saves a ton of time and work. I hope this helps ya out.

that may save time in constructing the HST, but you end up with all bias edges on the perimeter of each of those HST and for some that's not a good thing....I, myself, prefer the safer way---- only one bias edge being the one running diagonally across that finished square- secured with the stitched seam. We all find the best way for us..and do it that way...
