The pink and green is a quilt top that I did 3 years ago and never finished. I will be putting some sort of flower applique in the middle.

The baskets top is the one that my m-i-l gave me over 50 years ago. She said she made it when she was younger, she was 53 when she gave it go me, so it has to be between 70 and 80 years old.

The other one is one that I found at a garage sale for a dollar, hand sewn.
I just have to finish these and date them with a short story line.

I made this one about 3 years ago and never finished

All three are awesome quilts. The old ones are really treasures! And, how sad, that a handsewn GFG was sold at a garage sale for $1.00.

You're right, I think about the time she spent sewing all of those hexagons together, I just can't believe someone didn't appreciate the work enough to keep it. That's ok, I do, and I will finish it for her.
