I just started checking the thrift stores after finding this board. So far no luck.

I love the "groovy" wavy fabric with purple in it. My nieces would love a quilt with that in it.

Darren it can be a hit and miss as far as the thrift stores, sometimes nothing and other days its like hitting pay dirt, of course those are usually the days the budget is tight..lol

There is a thrift store in las vegas called Savers...usually I don't find much but friday more then made up for it.....8 yds of beautiful fabric 7.99 , a 20.00 kenmore sewing machine and it runs so smoothly, tons of misc. sewing notions , a couple nice hard back quilt bks and lots of paperback reading books. If you go be careful some of their stuff is very over priced, if its something you really want consider speaking to the mgr.
