    Default Scrap quilts

I had a lot of scraps after finishing the Prairie Meadow applique quilt so decided to avoid restashing and just use it up. The first quilt is a pattern from a FQ book called Lattice. This used a sew and flip snowball corner, which was a nice chunk of fabric to just throw away so I made HST first before flipping and whacking. Then I used all the HST’s and the balance of scraps and made the second quilt featuring Ohio Stars and pinwheels in different sizes. There is no pattern…just winging it until scraps gone… just a few wisps and strips of fabric left which I added to my crumb bags…. Very satisfying to use up all that fabric and produce 3 quilts. Yah!!

Nice job on both of them. No one would know they were leftover fabrics.

Congrats for using up your scraps to make these lovely quilts. Do you start making blocks and then put them on a design wall before you start to sew the rows together?
