Default Throw

I made this top for my son years ago. I had no clue of what I was doing! It's made out of shirts (even the white). I used cardboard template and a regular bic pen to trace the squares and cut out with old-fashioned scissors! Right after i finished it, we became homeless and I thought it was gone forever (forgot about it, to be honest!) and it was found in a box in my sister's garage! I got it back a few months ago, and quilted it and finally got it bound yesterday. The backing/binding is a sheet. Not a work of art, but the sentimental factor is high on this one!

I think it's awesome! Especially for the sentimental value!

Wow, what a story! I'm glad your sister was smart enough to keep it. Great that you have now finished it. That kind of 'find' brings back so many memories!

So glad that your sister had your quilt for you.
Sorry that you were homeless for awhile; know that must have been hard.
Hope things are a lot better for you now.
Wishing sunshine for you in your day.
