Wow...what a quilt! It's indescribably beautiful. I can't wait to see the finished project. Beautiful.

I'm so sorry about your friend. I lost one of my best friends to cancer a few years ago and another friend this past Sunday night. If only they could find a cure for cancer! Hugs !

That is beautiful, both the quilt & the intention.

I'm so glad this post came back up! I've been wondering how the quilt has been coming along! :)

Had to put it on the back burner for a little while. I messed up the border, and needed to take a break. In the meantime, I started a scrap exchange, and with that is a deadline. But I will soon get back to it, and finish it. I'm very excited about how it looks, I'll take a picture soon of the progress and post it.

Thanks for all the kind words all!

That is such a beautiful quilt and you are so special to finish it and give it to Helen's family. I'm wondering if there is an update too.

Hey! I resemble that star.

I have also lost a friend to brain cancer, it was... a very bad year. I hope the last year has been one that has given you the time to reflect upon the life you lost, the value of your friendship with that person, and the joy you should have in every day you have to live on this earth.

It would be nice to see an update when you get a chance.
