So sorry to hear about your friend passing away. To carry on making the quilt will be a wonderful way to remember her.

I think that your friends family would be thrilled to have it finished in her memory. It's going to be a wonderful, beautiful quilt.

What a nice response to the loss of your friend. I am sure that if any of us passed away, that we would feel special that someone loved us so much that they wanted to respond with something as beautiful as that quilt you are making for her family.

Well, as a matter of fact, I did finish piecing the top a couple of months ago. I'll get some pics of it this weekend and post them. It turned out quite nice. Right now I can't afford to get it quilted, but sooner or later, I'll have the $moochies to get 'er done!
