Well, with time still against me, Helen's husband has passed also. He was sharp as a tack up until the Lord took him, but his frail body didn't hold out. He hovering around 90 somewhere, and had the richest life. His children adored him. As with Helen, his funeral was attened my most all who lived in their smallish town.

So now the quilt is doubly sweet. It has thoughts of both of them wrapped up and sewn in with every stitch. If I can ever scrounge the $moochie$ to get it quilted (it will most likely require custom work) it will definitely go to Helen's son and his family. (They are who we are the closest to and have been for many years)

pieced, but not quilted.

Wow! Your quilt is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing and I, too, am sad at the loss of your friends. Has to be terribly hard on their family as well as all their friends.

Hi M

Just love the quilt you are working on... I am sure your friend would have loved it..... giving it to her family will be very special for them knowing their mother had a dear frined like you. It will be a family treasure for years..... Remember to put something special on the quilt label for the family.

Your Quilt is very beautiful...... and I love the star......
