As some of you know I have two dogs... a Sheltie with sharp tiny nails and a schnauzer that has nails like a badger! Even though our woodwork is new this past spring, their frequent trips to the window has worn the paint away.

I came up with this idea and I'll change them to match how the livingroom is currently decorated ( since I retired as a primary teacher I am a little bonkers about decorating for the seasons! 30 years of changing things in my classroom can't just be ignored!).

So here it is! it is attached with sticky backed velcro.

The reason for the tiny perfect quilt. A new coat of paint might last longer than a month now!

Uh oh! I think I may have to steal this idea. How clever you are and such a pretty little touch, too.

To hold it in place, did you put a tab of sorts and slip under the open window and then close the window down over it? Trying to figure out how it stays in place.

What a great idea Mamagus! Alternatively, you could make the dogs little quilted boots!

Sticky backed velcro. One set in each corner.

OH K! Those dogs would shred booties like they were made of Milkbone dog treats!
