I went to the local thrift store today and they had 15.00 bucket sale on clothes. All the clothes you could fit into a bucket was only 15 dollars. I manage to get 5 blazers 8 pairs of pants 1 sweater and 3 skirts into 2 buckets. Did I mention that they were all 100% wool. Spent the afternoon watching movies and ripping seams. after washing and felting this is what I got. I'm going to use the sweater for mittens and the turtleneck part for a coffee mug cozie

You are so creative. I would never have thought of repurposing those things. I want to see the finished products too. Great find.

Way to go. Years ago I collected wool clothing from thrift stores and cut them into strips and made large braided wool rugs. The collecting was the most fun:)

GREAT for you! Don't you just LOVE thrift stores.

I went to one that had $5.00 bag sale on clothes.

I did this too! Or at least I tried. :roll My MIL made room-sized wool rugs. My niece has them now and they are still perfect after 50 years of use in bedrooms.:

The quilt on my bed has a fabric that I love. I bought a size 3X muu muu at a yard sale for $.75 and had yards of fabric.
