I put aside the quilt I am working on (string quilt) and made a set of placemats and some tissue holders today! Something different to take a break...also cleaned my poor neglected house this morning too! LOL

Those are really pretty. Looks like you've been busy. I guess the housework needs to be done (inbetween quilting anyway). :D Do you have a pattern for the little tissue holder? Those look like they'd be neat to have.

Thanks Pam! I hit submit a little too quick when I put the link up for those tissue holders! LOL

I still have to send them my dollar! I made 8 of them in 25 minutes Christmas Eve day..... didn't have to rush so fast with this group of 8 tho! LOL

Love the placemats and tissueholders, really like the green in them. another great job :D

Spent a lot of time there looking at the ugly quilt contest, the huge pic of stashes and funny signs. I now have tears of laughter in my eyes :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Thanks Patsy. I'll make a copy & send a dollar. Sounds like the donation money goes to a good place. :D

Country Quilter,
Thanks for the link to this wonderful website. I spent wayyyy too much time there! Now I feel inspired to make something to donate to Leader Dogs for the Blind. The dogs cost 10's of thousands of $ to train but there is never a charge to the person receiving the dog, so it is a really great cause.
And not to to forget your projects- they are really lovely.
