This topic brought back an old memory and made me smile! When my son was a baby he could climb out of his crib when he was 10 months old ... before he could walk! He never fell. We would put him into his crib and by the time we got to the door he was out of the crib, and crawling past like greased lightening, where he would turn around and laugh as though it was the funniest thing in the world. He was a small baby too, not tall, nor did he have long legs.

The only way to keep him in the crib was if he was asleep when he got there, so we rocked him to sleep every night. He never climbed out in the mornings ... he would just practice his "singing and talking" until someone came to get him. He was a funny little guy, and now he's a 42 year old military officer who still makes his mom laugh!
