My daughter asked me to make her a rail for the toddler bed.. that goes the whole length of the bed.. This is what she came up with .. turned out great :) The fabric also matched her polka dot bedding in like colors ;) can't wait to see it on the bed.

I would have never thought of making one out of fabric. Nice job.

neither did I but there was just none that fit a toddler bed on the market ;) hope it works. really she just wants to be sure she doesn't fall out in the night.. it is only one foot off the ground ( the bed )

I see how you are gonna attach the sides but how the bottom. The child could easily slide out if you don't attach it too.

My daughter would fall out of the bed, climb back in halfway and sleep with her little feet on the floor! I would sneak in in the morning just to see how far away from where I put her down she would be in the morning.

That is so funny. I love your fabric rail. Great idea.

The rail should be tight .. across and it is not going to prevent her from going over or under.. trust me LOL... mom just wants her not to fall out at night.. toddler bed is designed to be less than one foot off ground soft landing. also the way the bed is the first velcros attaches pretty low so should be no gap at mattress level. We'll see.. I told her not to show her how you put it on or she will have it off in one minute ;)

I was just wondering. I have a toddler bed too but now that I'm looking at it I realize it really is low to the floor. I guess when I see lil man standing next to it it looks higher than a foot tall.
