Hello,

My friend Sherrie & I worked on this Patriotic quilt together to be raffled this year. The proceeds will help pay for packages to be sent to the troops @ Christmas. Say hi to Sherrie everyone! :D She is the one who told me about this quilting board. She reads the quilters message board everyday but I haven't been able to talk her into posting yet. Sherrie got this pattern from a 2008 Best of Quilting - Block & Pattern- a- Day Calandar. The Original pattern is called Celebrate America Quilt by Debby Kratovil 2005. We changed some of the blocks a little as Sherrie has an embroidery machine & a nice eagle pattern. I ended up changing the pinwheel due to a miscalculation on my part & since I didn't want to start the blocks over...I extended the block. We also increased the size of our blocks from 5" to 10" for a larger finished quilt.

Hi Sherrie! Hope you join in! Thanks for bringing us Pam!

This is a beautiful quilt and I really like how you "fixed" the pinwheel block! Now you should name it, because you came up with that and it really is pretty!

Celeste...I just figure someone else has probably already adjusted a pinwheel block that way before me. I probably just need to "find" the name?? LOL
