I love doing T-shirt quilts. I have a question was the book really helpful? Did you buy and use the templets? I'm thinking about it but would love to know what you think.

The book give a lot of ideas, tell how to do the math on how to get the size with amount of shirts you have. Show how to map out your shirts. I did buy the templets. But in the book tell you how to cut your own out of a sheet of plastics glass. I like how the different size blocks work together. Hope it helps!

What is the name of the interfacing you used--brand name if you know it, please. Thanks.

That book is on my list. After catching up on my work patterns...and quilting 3 completed tops...and 2 new quilts for my kids...and I'm sure a baby quilt will pop up between now and then. Oh, heck, maybe I should just admit that I'll never make all of the quilts I want to make. Would that make my life any easier or guilt free?
Your t-shirt quilt is wonderful! I do like this style without all the sashing!

It looks great! I am taking a t shirt quilt class next week, so I am looking at pictures of everyone else's here! I am so excited because I have saved all of my daughters soccer shirts. She is playing in college now and this will be her senior year, her last season.... so before the season I will have this quilt completed as a gift for her!! : )
