I've been off work almost three months. Ran out of quilt ideas for now. So I decided to make handbags I can sell. All are originals from my head/no patterns. I was thinking on charging $5 for the wristlets, $7 for the Kindle bags (pink & orange flowers) and I don't know how much for the others. What do you think?

They are tooooo cute. I hve never see a wrist one before. What a great idea.

I'm thinking just from knowing the time involvement that your prices are too low. But I have no idea what the market will give. People have cut back. The quilt shop owner says up to $40, people don't think too much but over that they think twice.

I wish you a lot of luck. Hope you do well

My suggestion would be $8 and $15, this will make it partially worth while.
Good luck.

Very cute! It's fun to stray from the "norm".

How can you sell them for so little? Handmade/Homemade items should be of more value than cheap imported items. Now will most people agree? I would start higher - you can always have a "sale".

I tried selling handbags at local craft sales with some success. I could not do the set up and take down with a bad back. Plus some craft shows allow ready made imports which are cheap and homemade items can't compete. I'm not willing to work for 3 cents an hour.. . good luck.
