I found these panels on an ebay site and instantly thought of how much my good friend, Margarita, would love this fabric. I pondered a few days and finally decided to make a full size quilt with it. She loves the bright Mexican colors and she is Catholic from Mexico. I only had a yard, 12 panels, so I made 8" sashings and the size came out good. It is bright! I mailed it today, hope she likes it.

I love this quilt and I am sure she will be thrilled to receive it. It's so bright and the icons are really gorgeous. Thanks for sharing the pics.

I have never seen icons like that in any fabric selections. She is a really lucky girl.
