Default log cabin blocks

This was my weekend UFO to do something with. I had made the blocks awhile back and realized that some were not right, so in the drawer it went. got it out this weekend and thought I might just scrap it but after playing around I put these together and these are the messed up blocks. Thinking i might add a scallop border to it and just enjoy the beautiful colors.

very clever way to straighten the blocks, it forms it's own design

Love the colors, they work well together. It's your quilt, and you can do whatever you want with it. I see no mess, but a very nice log cabin. Thanks for sharing.

Don't you just love log cabins, one of my favorites and you created something beautiful from your wonky blocks. Pat yourself on the back for a job well done and another UFO completed.

Glad you didn't toss the blocks! It looks lovely and a scallop border will be a great finishing touch.

It is a beautiful quilt. I love the colors, and it's so great you brought it out of the drawer to enjoy!
