I made this wall hanging serveral years ago - we had a particularly frigid December with lots of snow and ice. (Not normal for this part of Oregon) In fact, our kids couldn't make it down on Christmas Day that year.

:cry:

I hang it in our entry hall every December, and when I go out the door, it reminds me not to complain about the rain, because it JUST COULD BE icy and snowing!

wow Wow WOW! This is the most special log cabin I've ever seen. Spectacular. and the quilting... beautiful, beautiful. I love this. What foresight and imagination you have. I want one. Other than single blocks here & there, I've not made a log cabin. When I do (and, now I Will!) it will be This one. :-D BookMarking!!!

Love that quilt. Where did you find the pattern for it? It is the perfect entry way quilt for the Christmas season! Or all winter!
You did a fantastic job. Love the snowflakes too.

The pattern is from a book by Linda Causee, "Log Cabin Flannel Quilts" with foundation piecing. I did not use flannel or use paper piecing. I just measured her pattern, cut strips, and followed her placement guideline.
