I made this quilt with left overs 2" squares I had from some other project. It started as a Trip Around the World but it gets fuzzy with the scrappy look in the outer rounds. So I labeled it as a Trip Around Town... LOL. The zig-zag border is paper pieced. My first foray into PP.

I stayed with a friend for a week, and this was my hostess gift. Normally we have a blast, but her mother had a stroke on the second day while I was there, so we spent a lot of time at the hospital. (At 96, the mom is now doing well in rehab.) I hope the quilt doesn't just remind her of this bad time.
