Default Trip Around the World

A neighbor had brought me over some quilt tops she didn't want. She thought before she pitched them maybe I would like them. I had posted a picture of all 13 a few months ago.

I of couse took the, her mother and grand mother had made them all. and the were all HAND made. No machine to make them . Their work was amazing. I shared them with non quilting friends and a few quilting friends. so I know they are in good hands and a few already had them quilted and a couple more are being quilting now.

Well heres one that I just finished putting on the binding. its Trip around the word. if you look close you will see these amazing women even fussy cut some of the 2" squares. Oh yes forgot to mention its almost KING size.

Yes the tops are where they are loved.

Good for you. Thank heavens that she thought to ask you. What a shame it would have been to have them tossed. BrendaK

Why would anyone even consider pitching these. So glad you were able to save them.

Wow! I'm so glad you're preserving the quilt tops.
