Thank you for the nice comments. I had fun choosing colors that I thought each sister would like. I used a couple of the same fabrics in all of the quilts to symbolize the part of our lives when we grew up together. Also, in each quilt is a fabric or two or more that are used in only that quilt to symbolize the years we have lived apart and become wives, mothers and grandmothers and formed new families. I plan to write a letter to accompany the quilts explaining my thoughts. I don't know how they'll be received, but it's been a labor of love for me and that's enough.
