Very good idea and you are a smart lady! You will have so much more time to do seasonal ones now. This one is very pretty and am looking forward to more.

I am guessing that the U.S. has "Winner's" or "Home Sense"? I bought the ensemble (King size so it would fall past the box spring) bed cover and two shams for 70.00 Canadian. I bought a beige one for the bed in my cottage and it is wonderful. Washes well and is good quality.

I am looking through books and magazines for my next project! Over time as I want to update the other bedrooms I am thinking I will go this route.

Thanks for all your compliments!

fantastic idea - using toppers instead of whole quilts ... I just might give this a try. Thanks for the idea, Mamagus.

I had a similar idea with 'seasons' quilts, but I have them as wall hangings. currently I haven't managed to make an Autumn quilt, but I have some fabrics on order, so I am just waiting for my squishy. I like the idea of a neutral shop bought bedspread, and adding toppers that will be quicker and easier to make. Well done.

The tulips are beautiful, and so is the idea of a topper! I think I'll be another convert! LOL
