Yes, machine sewn. I have a Brother SQ9000 (I think that's the model #). It was a Wal-Mart purchase - not their lowest end machine but pretty good, I think, for about $200. Lots of fun extra stitches (computerized), comes with lots of different feed, including a free motion foot and walking foot, an attachable quilting table or bed (don't know these terms yet). Cannot imagine doing all the quilt blocks for a bed size quilt by hand. Mine takes enough hrs. sewing by machine!
