Default Finishing up some UFO's

My goal for this year again is to try to sew almost exclusively from my stash. Here are 2 I have made lately from my stash. I did have to buy the border for the purple one as there was nothing in my stash for that. The Bento box is totally from my stash. I also quit buying backs and piece them to use up some things from my stash. The purple quilt started out when I was piecing things for a back for a baby quilt. I got a little bit carried away with cutting and slashing and piecing it so it became the front of the quilt.

I wish I had your talent for color selection - those are both so artistic and I never know how to pick from my stash. This will be my year for scrap quilts from my stash and I'm going to watch for your posts! (no pressure - LOL)

Great use of colours! Don't forget to shop at your LQS once in awhile though, or we won't be able to keep them in business

love both of them equally, the top looks easy to do and fast to make, I have been wanting to do a bento box too, you've inspired me
