This is a quilt I made in about 5 1/2 hours out of a layer cake and some fabric for the boarder. This was made from a tool called "Twister by CS Designs" my local quilt shop ordered from market.

This measures 53 x 53. There is a smaller version called Lil Twister you can use for charm packs and they make a cute wall hanging. (have one in the making one now with charms)

The directions look confusing but it's so easy. You sew 36 layer cakes together so you have 6 rows x 6 rows. Then you add a 6.5 in boader and then cut with the template and resew.

Check this out.

Do you use a special ruler to cut it out or just the way you sew the fabric ?

Love the design
