Thank you. Flying geese have become my 'bogey mannie ' of quilting. I'm hoping my next attempt will be better because I've finally sussed to use the 'piecing' programme in the machine rather than the ordinary straight stitch. If the next lot are also headless I will have to look for something else to blame!

Wonderful Quilts! No one but you will notice the headless geese. I finally mastered them when I took a class. For me it was Deb Tucker's Wing Clipper. By trimming them all the same way and size. The key was always protect the head. The rest falls into place. But there are lots of methods, I am sure you will find yours. Many of my friends in my bee just make HSTs.

Shielz, please try this Flying Geese method. No lopped off heads! Can make 4 at a time! Your quilts are really nice! Love the bright colors!
