Default Two more for Quilts For Kids

The first three photos are "Filmstrip" - inspired by the tutorial on CrazyMamaQuilts.
The last two are my take on "Scattered Squares" a Craftsy class by Elizabeth Hartman. This also marks my first venture into "organic" straight line quilting.
Both quilts will go to Quilts for Kids.

beautiful quilts ... I would find it hard to give them up. Was quilting done on regular sewing machine?
Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I used a regular sewing machine with a walking foot. The wavy lines on the first quilt were a stitch selection and the wavy lines on the Scattered Squares were of my own doing. And thanks for asking. I'm always wondering when others post about what they used to do the quilting and then I'm guilty of the same omission.

I like the pattern on the filmstrip one and your color selection is perfect for it. Very nice.

I just finished a quilt and used the wavy lines, it was simple and now that I look at yours, realize it really looks good. I struggle with free motion, so these are great alternatives, thanks for posting and giving inspiration.
