Most of you know that I make miniature quilts for the Alzheimers Art Quilt Initiative (AAQI - http://alzquilts.org)

Here are 2 new ones that I've made. Hopefully these bring me closer to raising the $1,000 I've promised. :) So far, I've donated 14 quilts, but only 9 are showing up on my $1,000 promise page. Of those 9, 1 is still waiting assignment and 7 have been *sold* :)

The Geckos are fused, and it's lightly quilted. The binding is actually one of the last pieces of fabric I have left from when the Rag Shop was in business.

And the Five Elements - Earth, Air, Fire, Water and the white represents Spirit. It's hand appliqued.

Beautiful quilts! I admire people who applique. It was so nice of you to donate your quilts. I hope that you make your goal.

Thank you for what you do for others, my mother suffered with Alzheimers and I appreciate what you are doing. Very pretty quilts.
