    Default Two from One Pattern

I decided that I wanted both of my GGS to have the same quilt for Christmas. Sort of. I used the same pattern but reversed the x block and they became o blocks. This way they can tell them apart but both will match the room they have. All earth tones with trees on the walls.

Nice quilts, and great idea to make them just a tad different.

Clever Idea,,, I may do just the same thing with 2 of my GD. I am in the process of finishing 2 more quilts, Just finished puting binding on one and just sandwiched one together so I will start to hand quilt that one. I am going to do another one
One of my GS wants a heavy quilt so I am doing a 2 different cordrouy s and a heavier cotton. That's about the heaviest one can go without doing heavy polly. Will let you know how that turns out... most likely will have lots of problems... But I am one to try it.

Great quilts! You did a perfect example of color and block placement making totally different looks! Thanks!
