Default Two for Project Linus

These were two quick blankets for PL using fabrics I had on hand. I found the pirate fabric at a yard sale and there wasn't enough to do much more with it. The kitties I embroidered and then needed to figure out a way to use them in a blanket. Neither is perfect in terms of technique, but both are done and that's something in my book!

Hello fellow PL Blanketeer! What a great save for extra fabric and your snowball blocks give me an idea for the small amounts of children's fabrics I have. Thank you for donating your time. I am sure we both wish there were more people out there to help us make comforting small quilts for ill children. Our Metro Chapter used to make some 300 to 400 quilts a month but with the economy, or loss of interest of some, we just do not make that goal any more. So for those of you quilters who would like to help Willferg and I, please check out Project Linus' web site to find a Chapter near you. Happy stitches everyone.
