Here is my first "real" quilt. For my sister for her wedding in Sept. Now I just have to figure out how to quilt it! And that's my little buddy, Chevy, in the picture. Never misses a photo op!

Your quilt is great. Hard to believe it is your first!! This is a great example of what I consider "controlled scrappy". Really nice. Are you going to machine quilt, or hand?

This was made from approx 80 FQs (excluding borders). A local shop had a sale so I stocked up quickly. My sister choose the colors but hasn't seen any of the quilt yet. I'm machine quilting, just not entirely sure how yet. And, no, I don't have a long arm. But I'm up for the punishment. :?

Beautiful quilt, so nice and BIG. Love scrappy quilts. You did a really good job, the points look nice and sharp. The quilt inspector seems to like it too. Thanks for sharing.

HOW FUNNY!!! I totally just found a huge mistake in this quilt! I'm still learning! I won't point it out but I'm sure you experienced ones will see it. My sister will never know. HA HA HA (there's almost tears with those Ha's)
