    Default UFO Done!!

I'm so excited. I have made a doll, completed my first ever quilt for me and knocked a UFO off of my list all in the past couple of weeks. Only 12 more UFO's to go before I can start on my list of new projects that I am excited to do. But for now - One down! This quilt was made for my son's girlfriend (at the time, she is the ex now) for her 18th birthday. She is living out of town so I will be mailing it to her this week. I started off machine quilting it but it didn't work because I doubled up on the batting and it was just too fluffy for the machine and puckered something awful so I ended up hand quilting it. Which is why it has, as my son pointed out as too long, taken the year and half for it to be finished. Done now and off to its new home. I couldnt be more happier.

You mentioned pinwheels....reminded me of the big one on the back. Casey's favorite color is yellow.

Here's the back of the quilt.

Horray for finished UFO's. The quilt is wonderful, cheery and the quilting is great. Are you sure you don't want the current girlfriend to have it!!Nice job. Good luck on the next UFO.
