A friend gave me some embroidered blocks to make into a quilt about 13 years ago. They got packed away in a box and almost lost. I ran across them recently AND finally they have been made into a quilt. I have no excuse for this but I feel like a 50 lb rock has been lifted off my heart...I would think about them on & off and feel really guilty. Now I can move on.

It has turned out so nice and crinkly quilty after it was washed and dried. Its probably a good thing I didn't do it back then...I've improved in skills just a bit over the years. Everything went together smooth as butter. Thank Goodness!

I remember embroidering those same blocks when I was a teen. Don't know what ever happened to them...maybe gave them away.

The stack of quilt tops that I have been gently ignoring is next on the list. The first one being a contemporary brown & turquoise that I made for my step daughter. She lives in Germany and her birthday is Feb 4th. I gotta get busy! =)
