What a lovely quilt! It's so very colorful. I'm sorry to hear about your quilt teacher. She would be proud of the finished quilt. I especially like that you named the quilt as a tribute to her, and so blessed to have a song to go with it.

Gorgeous quilt. Sorry for the loss of your quilt teacher. It must have been very upsetting for you to put your lovely quilt away for so long. Well done for taking it up again and finishing it. It's a beautiful quilt and a lovely testament to your teacher and your ability. Best wishes.

Thank you all. Yes, Irene was a major influence in my life. Our little community was blessed with her good humor, craftsmanship and giving nature.
Yes, I have been humming that song as I worked.
Since I am going to be the featured quilter at our show this year, I am working energetically to get several of my UFOs finished. Friday, since I had to go to the LQS, I took it, partly quilted, in to show my friend who is half owner. I showed it to the people there, including my guild's current teacher. She commented that it was a good tribute to Irene, which gave me the nudge to name it.
