I wanted to see if it would work and I just love it so far!! My third block produced the right size and look I wanted. So I went for it! I took the emphasis off the block entirely by focusing on the corner treatment. I wanted that 'framed' look of the corners and love it not matching there. In fact, it'll be a little wonky looking when I get done. I was amazed how well it really lined up without PP it. Each block only took 23 min. ea. and that included the measuring/cutting! I got the whole thing together in 2 weeks. The centers are 49 shades of red and anything else grabbed from the scraps went into the block although I limited the use of red in the block somewhat. It's a sew-measure-cut process and the block has unlimited possibilities because of the colors you use. I just love this block! It's so versatile. I'll be adding 2 more rows to it to make it longer. Hope you enjoy my No Match Pineapple! :-D :-D
