Default A UFO Victory!

I don't have many UFOs. I tend to stick with a project until it's done once I start it. However, several years ago, I started making blocks but then I took a new job in a new state and all quilting got put on the back burner. When I got back to it, I made a number of quilts but forgot about this project totally. When I stumbled on it a few months ago, I couldn't remember how I was planning to lay out the blocks in a quilt. Last weekend I spent some time playing around with a design and finished the top today. It's for one of my great-nieces. I hope she likes it.

Very pretty. I like the pattern, very well suited to the fabrics.

I plan to make a quilt like that, but I hadn't thought of putting the blocks on point -- I like it, I think I shall do that. Thanks for the idea. I am going to use it to showcase some of my larger prints.
