UFO's getting done

Our Quilt guild, has a UFO challenge going on - - you get your name in a drawing for every UFO completed.( must be a year old). Here are two that I have completed.
The Green quilt is the first Quilt that made in a beginners class in 1998. Finally got it quilted. Pattern Pioneer Sampler. I didn't like all of the blocks so I just put the blocks that I liked in the quilt and tossed the others.
The black, white and Red Quilt. Is one of a pair of quilts that I pieced in 2003, I finished one made. And now just quilted the second. So now I finally have a matched set for my family room chairs. Both were quilted on my Janome Horizon. Am really starting to love that Machine.

I particularly like your black, white and red one!
Our LQS had a similar UFO challenge last year from Sept thru end of May. You paid to enter your UFO, and then the one with the most "points" (based on size of project, you got more points) won the pot of $$. I was thrilled, as it was a win-win for me with lots of projects done and then winning the $$.
They're doing it again with a slight change in the rules. And now I'm looking forward to getting more UFOs done. I thought I was getting ahead of them in the spring ... and they've built right up!
