I absolutely love your UFO. What brilliant use of colour, so bright & uplifting. Well Done.
I've cut out plastic templates for braids but you've guessed it I've not put template to fabric yet :lol:

Love your braid! I have a question for you. When I made a braid for a border, I found that it was difficult to gauge where to trim the edges. What did you use for a landmark to keep both sides even? It felt like it was getting wider on one side than the other. I'd love your tips and suggestions.

To tell you the truth this was my frist braid I also did this by hand ( took it to work ). All I did was sew it in strips. then sewd the sprips together . My problem is evening them out on the top and botom.

Ohhh I missed this when you posted it. I so love the braid design!! Yours is beautiful. Great colors and by hand to boot! That's awesome!!
