Default UFQ result

I want to thank everyone for their suggestions as to what to do with this UFQ. I laughed at some (throw it away) and believe me I was tempted. I could not put the time and more fabrics into something I would never use. I did however make a place mat for my GD'S dog Sierra. I think she will like it. I could not make this ugly FQ into a beautiful swan! LOL I did complete the challenge though. TY again for your suggestions!
Hugs, Ruth

I think you did a great job with what you had to work with. Don't you just love challenges? They stimulate your thinking and push you to the extreme. Challenges make you do things you never thought you could do. I think you took that UFQ and did an amazing job with it. Sierra will love it (although probably make her a little crazy looking at it) ! I am glad you got a lot of enjoyment and laughs out of this unusual piece of fabric. I know we on the board did! You came up with a great solution!

I actually like the fabric. I love anything with orange in it. LOL You done good with the dog mat. Anyone out there that don't know what to do with, so called ugly, fabric . The animal shelters love them. They don't care what it is made out of or the colors. Anything goes for them.I just donated 4 practice free motion ugly quilts to a place called Home at Last. They thought they were beautiful. It is a no kill place that finds homes for all their animals.
