I now have permission to post a picture of the other project in our guilds ugly fat quarter challenge. We were paired up and each of us supplied a F4 we considered ugly (actually 2 of the same F4). Then we each picked another F4 (again 2 of the same F4). This gave each of us the same 4 F4 to work from.
My ugly was bottom right and I added the yellow top left on my project. My partner's ugly was bottom left and she added the top right fabric.

That is beautiful. Just goes to the old saying that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. An ugly fabric put with other fabrics, shows off something that we really didn't appreciate in the first place. Good job. I know that I have, what I consider ugly fabrics, and just need to find the right combo to use them with.

I guess there isn't any truly "ugly" fabric!! Good save on these projects!

Well, considering they were "ugly" fabric (lol) you two certainly come up with wonderful designs!
I like them both and don't think there is anything "ugly" about them. Carol

Oh. This is nice. Bonnie Hunter did say if a piece of fabric is still ugly after cutting the pieces aren't small enough. Good job!
