It is my opinion that she will be a quilter forever now. You cannot create something so beautiful unless you have a passion for creating somewhere inside you. I would suggest you print out all these pages of comments for her to save so that when she is a GRANDMA she can show the kiddies how she started.

Congratulations Marissa for a Challenge that you surpassed! The quilt is awesome-love the colors-the placement of the star blocks and your quilting is just absolutely beautiful. Great job!! Thanks for explaining about the challennge too.

Fantasticly beautiful, the colors are great. She has done wonderful & I do hope the grade will be as well.

Marisa's quilt is great. Am sure that the math, designing her pattern and all that took place in making this quilt will make the next and future quilts more challenging. And then to top it off with FMQ for a first.....WOW!!! Thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful quilt! What a great job she did. I know you have to busting at the seams proud of her. I have a dd tha same age, I wish she would get the quilt bug like your dd. Great job!
