Boy, this challenge was multi-faceted and took a variety of skills for your daughter to learn. She definitely earned a good grade!

I'm curious about your comment "senior graduation challenge project" as it makes me wonder if graduates must meet a challenge as one of their graduation requirements. Here, ours must all complete a project that involves completing a booklet designed to make plans for the future, and make a presentation of their school learning and future plans to a community panel. Some are now scrambling to re-do their work in order to earn the final item for grad requirements. Your daughter would definitely NOT be in the re-do section.

Hi! This is Marisa, Pam's daughter. At my school, each student must complete, present, and share a challenge project in order to graduate. These projects must be something that the student has never done before and would be a challenge to them, like training for and competing in a triathlon, learning to play the harmonica, building a computer, restoring an old car, decorating cupcakes, etc. Someone last year made a reconstruction of Queen Elizabeth I's coronation gown! (that was one of the best projects in recent history)

Thank you, everyone, for all of your nice comments! I'm already planning my next quilt.
