United Methodist Church in Noth Chili NY annual Quilt Show Part 2
Thanks to QuiltnNan for posting her pictures of this show on 9/15. I am posting some that she didn't post. I don't have them all labeled, but will try to include a few words. I will post about 20 in a group, because I know it can bog some PCs down if too many pics are attached.
The Quiltisaur and peacock were made by sisters; both employed a challenge fabric from a quilting event. The Blue and gold quilt was made up of many fabrics with metallic threads, but the non-metallic fabrics also made the quilt shimmer.

pictures 11-20 of NCQS part 2
Regarding the quilt on the chair next to the one hanging, the quilter made every block from one book, and had enough to make two twin-sized quilts.
Sorry, I see I have repeated a couple of quilts that QuiltnNan already covered.

United Methodist Church in North Chili NY annual Quilt Show Part 3
More pictures as a followup to QuiltnNan's post of 9/15/13.
My mother loved the landscape. She said it was just like driving through certain parts of NYS.
QuiltnNan already posted the quilt made of all 8-pointed stars....I have some close-ups here. The quilter put some beautiful fabric combinations together here, as you can see.
QuiltnNan also posted the red and white quilt, which is an antique. I am posting a close-up, hoping you can see the nice hand quilting. If I remember the story of the quilt, it took six weeks of steady work to complete the quilting.
The last quilt in this group was part of the display for Mt. Pleasant Quilting Company, a LQS, vending at the show.
This is the last thread I'll be posting for this show.
Later this weekend I hope to post pics from the "Garden of Quilts" show in Caledonia, from mid-August.

more NCQS pics, Part 3
This next group is a small portion of the charity quilts made by local church members, school groups, etc. The quilts are donated to local hospitals for at-risk babies and children, as well as other charities.
I'm so jealous that other quilters seem to find such bright and cute fabrics!!!
