I love the how the different directions of the points makes for an extra interesting pattern. I also think your choice of colors is great!

There is no blue in this star, it is all purples. The next sections have small triangles then a sawtooth border then a wider printed border. I do not know yet what I'm using - have it laid out on floor with options surrounding it, trying to decide

I've seen this pattern before, and never thought too much of it...your choice of colors and graduating them really take this to a different level! Well done!
